The Doctoral College, in partnership with Enabling Services, is running a feedback session to deliver key findings and possible next steps of the PGR Wellbeing Project.
The session, which is part of the Festival of Doctoral Research, is running Friday 20 May, 14:00 – 15:00 and spaces can be reserved online. The session is open to all, and would be particularly relevant to those who participated in the PGR Wellbeing Project focus groups and survey, as well as research staff and the wider PGR community.
The project, launched earlier this year, aimed to gather evidence surrounding PGR mental health and wellbeing issues and develop an enhanced framework for University PGR support services in the future.
The feedback session, delivered by Project Officer Emma Waight, will highlight key findings, including those from the survey and focus groups, in relation to the pastoral care needs of doctoral students here at the University.
Running alongside the feedback session is the Festival’s PGR Support and Services Fair. This is a drop-in fair for PGRs and research staff to find out more about the different areas of the University providing support and services for doctoral researchers. The fair may also be of interest to students considering a research degree.
The project team would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to all those who have participated in the Wellbeing project to date and look forward to implementing the planned improvements over the coming months.
