Staff and students are invited to attend a talk by Julie Cantalou, Policy Fellows Manager at Public Policy@Southampton, entitled Engaging with European Affairs. The talk will be held on 25 May 12:00-14:00 in Building 32/2097 and lunch will be provided
This ‘how to’ session on engaging with EU policymakers will start with a short introduction to the EU policymaking framework and institutions. The aim is to give participants a greater understanding of the target audience, such as European Parliament, European Commission, etc. We will then dig into how EU institutions interact with science and how the policymaking process works at EU level. This will help participants select their stakeholders and the type of interaction required.
