Has your team developed innovative teaching practice?

Applications invited for HEA Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence.

New for 2016, the Higher Education Academy  has launched a pilot scheme Collaborative Awards for Teaching Excellence (CATE)  designed to reward teams for their collaborative work and excellent practice. Up to six teams will receive £15K to support the dissemination of their practice nationally/internationally and to evaluate the impact of their work in the sector. Full details of the award including eligibility criteria, rules and the staged application process can be found on the HEA website.

As the University is only allowed to submit one application for the 2016 award, an internal selection process, led by Alex Neill, Vice-President (Education), will now take place to determine which team’s achievements will be submitted to the HEA this year.

To register your interest in applying for the selection process, and if successful submitting an application to the HEA, please send a brief email by Friday 3 June 2016.

Completed applications for the internal selection process need to be emailed by noon on 14 June 2016.
