The workshop, which is open to all HEA fellows, will be led by Dr Eleanor Quince and Dr Vanessa Mar-Molinero and supported by an academic team comprising Charlotte Medland, Carol Evans and others.

Through explorative case studies, the workshop will explore a range of innovations in pedagogy across a variety of arts and humanities disciplines including archaeology, English, film, history, languages, music and philosophy. Although case studies are subject-specific, they will be grouped thematically around a core innovative approach; highlighting their value for cross- / inter-disciplinary applications. These will include:

  • Facilitating distance learning in arts and humanities subjects
  • Developing transferable skills in the arts and humanities curriculum
  • Collaborative peer engagement in the arts and humanities
  • Simulations in the HE arts and humanities curriculum
  • Authentic assessment in arts and humanities

More information on the workshop, including how to book your place, can be found here.
