Careers launch new e-advice service for students unable to access campus

The Careers and Employability Service are now offering advice via email to students who cannot get to the University to access the drop-in service.

E-advice allows students to receive personalised one-to-one advice from a Careers Adviser on a wide range of topics, including CVs, job applications and personal statements.

This new service is for students who cannot easily to get to the Careers Centre on Highfield Campus to access the drop-in service, therefore those who are:

  • on a year abroad/semester abroad e.g Erasmus
  • on placement not in the Southampton area
  • on Year in Employment
  • studying in Malaysia or China

To access the service, email your request and any relevant documents such as your CV to [email protected] along with your student ID number.

You will be allocated a Careers Adviser who will respond to you within five working days.

You will receive via email the same level of advice you would receive if you had attended a drop-in session in person.
