The University has been awarded a Circle of Excellence Bronze Award by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in the Fundraising Publications category for the Centre for Cancer Immunology’s ‘You’re It’ campaign, brochure and supporting collateral. You can view the results here.
Professor Iain Cameron, Dean of Medicine said:
“I am delighted that Southampton has received a Circle of Excellence Bronze Award. We are in prestigious company with this global recognition, with the Smithsonian Institution and the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business winning Gold and Silver Awards respectively. Well done to all involved in this tremendous achievement.”
This is the University’s first major fundraising campaign of its kind, with the award-winning collateral resulting from a hugely positive collaboration between the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, Communications and Marketing and the Faculty of Medicine.
Jo Donahoe, Director of the Office of Development and Alumni adds:
“The campaign has resulted in a true sense of collegiality and has united people across the whole University, including enormous support from staff and students in an array of fundraising activities — we have been overwhelmed by everyone’s engagement and generosity.”
