We are still looking for students to work at Open Days in July and September.
You will play an important part in presenting the University to potential students and their families. Each Open Day attracts over 10,000 visitors, who will all need their questions answered and to be pointed in the right direction. With this in mind, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic and friendly students with good communication skills.
The dates of the 2016 Open Days are:
Saturday, 9 July
Sunday, 10 July
Saturday, 3 September
Sunday, 4 September
Tasks are varied and can include:
- Setting up stands and resources
- Providing directions and information at any of the campuses
- Giving tours
- Staffing Information Points
- Assisting at talks and presentations
Depending on your availability, you can work for just one, or all four of the days specified above.
Before deciding which of the day(s) you’d like to work on, please make sure that you are available for the whole day, as Student Services will be in contact in the near future to confirm the hours you will be required to work.
Rate of pay is £7.48/hour (including holiday pay).
