Staff and students are invited to participate in a training day offered by Southampton Health Technology Assessments Centre (SHTAC) on Tuesday 11 October, from 09:15 – 16:15. The event will be held at Chilworth Manor Hotel, SO16 7PT.
Designed for health professionals, academics and decision makers with an understanding of health and related research, the training day will provide an overview of all aspects of systematic reviewing in health.
Topics covered will include:
- What is a systematic review?
- Scoping the research question
- Literature searching
- Inclusion/exclusion screening
- Data extraction & critical appraisal
- Data synthesis
Fees for the course are as follows:
- £250 (public/ academic sector)
- £350 (commercial sector)
