Teaching staff are invited to register for the upcoming Student Response Systems (SRS) Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting taking place on 20 September from 13:00 – 14:00 (venue to be confirmed).
Book your place here.
As we begin to move away from classic Turning Point clickers being used in the classroom and instead explore alternatives such as ResponseWare and Meetoo which can utilise students’ phones, tablets and laptops for voting interactions, why not come and discover how this software could benefit your own lessons.
Especially relevant for large cohorts, these two systems offer a simple means of blending everyday teaching with personal interactions via SRS, to facilitate a more varied learning experience.
Places at the meeting are free and can be booked through our Eventbrite page.
If you have a smartphone or tablet, please bring this along so you can try the systems out yourself.
SIG meetings are held regularly to provide staff with the opportunity to share best practice and explore the potential of new systems. New members are always welcome.
