In anticipation of this year’s Education, Research and Enterprise (ERE) Staff Promotions and In-Level Transfer Review, the University would like to raise awareness of the process and encourage applications from across all the different pathways. With this in mind, two open session are being offered to all ERE staff from Level 4 and above who are considering promotion.
The sessions will be hosted by a University Vice-President, and are a good opportunity to understand more about the changes in this year’s process, the University career pathways and assessment criteria, and how to prepare an application.
As monitoring data shows that women have been less likely than men to make applications for promotion, the University would particularly encourage women to attend, however, the session is open to all people who might be considering applying for promotion.
There will be two sessions followed by a Q&A session,* as follows:
Highfield Campus: Monday 3 October, 14:30 – 16:00, Building 27, Room 2001.
Southampton General Hospital: Thursday 6 October, 11:15 – 12:30, Room AB59.
If you would like to attend this event, you can register for the Highfield Campus session here and the Southampton General Hospital session here. All registrations must be received by Friday 30 September.
*Please note that the presentation will be filmed and the audio of the Q&A session recorded. This will be made available on the Promotion Website for members of staff unable to attend the event.
