Want to revise from home? Study at the coffee shop? Simply prefer to use your own device rather than a campus work-station? If so, you can access all your files and applications using the Southampton Virtual Environment (SVE), no matter where you are.
It’s quick and easy to set up, will give you access to the Microsoft Office Suite as well as 40 of the most frequently used applications (license agreements permitting).
There are two ways to access the SVE desktop; via an app or via any browser:
- Download the app here (Mac, Linux, iOS, Windows or Android) then click on VMware Horizon Clients, then choose the appropriate client app for your device.
- To access via a browser, click here and log-in using your University username and password.
