All University staff and students can connect to the internet and many of our IT services using Eduroam.
Eduroam is the University’s Wi-Fi network and is available across most of the campus and halls. It’s free to join and once you’ve subscribed it can be used at over 6,000 universities, research centres and other hot-spots around the world.
Connecting to Eduroam is easy; you simply log in with your full University username e.g. [email protected] along with your password.
iSolutions also provides some auto-configure apps for you to use and get started with your own device.
Visitors to the University can connect to the free ‘WiFi Guest’ account which is available across Highfield Campus, Winchester School of Art, Avenue Campus, Southampton General Hospital, Boldrewood Innovation Campus, Wide Lane and Halls. Simply select the WiFi Guest network on your device and follow the instructions.
University staff and students should use the Eduroam service, as it has greater capacity and enables access to all University networked services.
