The University has an unprecedented four (out of fifteen) finalists in the Odgers Berndtson’s CEO for a Day programme.
Launched 12 years ago in Germany, this is the first time it has been run in the UK, giving aspiring students the opportunity to shadow a high-profile business leader from a major company or organisation.
Following a rigorous selection process involving a written application, an assessment, interviews and group activities, the University’s four finalists; Arun Aggarwal (Law), Alex Bunker (History), Jack Covey (Environmental Science) and James Perkins (Chemistry) will all be paired with one of the participating CEOs. They will each have the opportunity to shadow them throughout every aspect of a working day.
Taking part this year are CEOs from: BT, Deloitte, DFS, The Cabinet Office, Edelman, Go-Ahead, ITV, Kier Group, Legal & General, The National Trust, Sage and Standard Chartered & Wier.
Watch Arun and James explain what they hope to get out of the day. The Careers and Employability Service has been supporting Odgers Berndtson with the programme.
