The CUHK International Summer School (ISS) offers local and international students an international learning environment and opportunities for quality cultural exchange during the summer.

Academics from CUHK and renowned overseas universities have been invited to teach in the school. In addition to Putonghua and Cantonese courses, a number of sought-after courses in business, humanities and social science with an Asian or Chinese perspective are offered.

The Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) is an institutional initiative to encourage international undergraduate students to develop their research skills through undertaking a short-term research attachment at CUHK during the summer.

There are some nominal programme costs involved, and students are also responsible for their housing, meals, local transportation, personal expenses, passport, visa applications, travel and medical insurance, and all other general living expenses.

This opportunity is open to all of our current Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The Study Abroad and Exchange Team will award those students who take part in these two programmes with a £500 Southampton Opportunity Scholarship.

To find out more, please come to the presentation or contact the Study Abroad and Exchange Team via email: [email protected] or visit their website to discover more summer school opportunities.banner
