This week saw a major milestone in the communication of our strategy to the senior leaders of the University at the Strategy Colloquium, members participated in a series of presentations and workshops to ensure they are all ready to communicate the outline of the 10-Year Plan within their respective areas.
The presentation slides from the meeting have been made available to the Strategy Colloquium members and to the Unions – in advance of an on-going University-wide communications campaign, starting with the Vice-Chancellor’s Campus Tour in November.
The University will wait until after Sir Christopher Snowden has completed his Campus Tour before releasing a ‘communications tool-kit’ consisting of the slides, links to a video of Sir Christopher Snowden explaining the outline 10-Year Plan, FAQ and feed-back documents, plus a guide on how to use the tool-kit.
In the spirit of collegiality, line managers are encouraged to cascade the outline 10-Year Plan via face-to-face meetings, giving staff the opportunity to ask questions and to facilitate discussion. The tool-kit will be released on 17 November 2016, teams may wish to make arrangements for their meetings now, please allow at least 2 hours.
There will be opportunities for all staff to direct questions to the project team and of course via the [email protected] email address.
