Dr Shewly Choudhury, Head of UK Grants at the Royal Society, will be visiting the University on 9 November 2016 to share the Royal Society’s funding priorities and opportunities in the areas of life and physical sciences (excluding clinical medicine) and engineering.

As part of this visit, the University will host an open session covering a range of topics including the Society’s early career and senior fellowship schemes, industry and innovation schemes, research capacity schemes, and international schemes, along with a range of hints and tips.
Taking place on Wednesday 9 November in the Senate Room (4049), Building 37, Highfield Campus, the session will run from 11:00 – 12:30.
This session will be relevant to final-year PhD students and researchers from post-doctoral level upwards, working in the areas of life and physical sciences (excluding clinical medicine) and engineering.
