MyHR Dashboard: New absence booking module is now live

The dedicated Time Management module of MyHR has gone live today, 1 November 2016. This module records all absences; holiday, sickness and paid absences as well as payment of claims and overtime.

At launch today we are introducing Absence Management: holiday, sickness and ‘other’ absences – these include compassionate leave, study leave and jury service and other civic duties (but not maternity, paternity and adoption leave which should continue to be requested via the  Service Now portal). It is intended that functionality relating to payment of claims and overtime will be introduced later in the year.

With the introduction of Absence Management,  the recording of all sick absences is mandatory and leave must be requested using this functionality.

Key features of this new product include:

  • One module to book all absences within MyHR Dashboard, replacing the 3 existing absence modules in MyHR.
  • People with more than one post will be able to see their holiday entitlements for each post.
  • Accurate entitlement calculation for holidays.
  • The ability to record all absences (holiday, sickness & other paid absence).

A comprehensive guide to booking absence is available here.

Effective today, we are opening the carry over leave facility in MyHR. This will remain open until 30 November 2016 for you to request carry-over of leave. If you need guidance and advice on leave carry-over, please click here.
