Global Entrepreneurship Week 2016 for students at the University

Monday 14 – Saturday 19 November 2016 is Global Entrepreneurship Week. The University and Union Southampton are hosting a range of exciting events for all students interested in developing their enterprise skills and entrepreneurial potential. These attributes are essential for starting up your own businesses and are highly valued by prospective employers.

An annual and international event, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities. These activities are designed to help explore your potential as self-starters and innovators, introducing you to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.

GEW supports the University strategic vision to develop graduates who are confident global citizens, equipped to make a positive contribution to the world.

There is something for everyone in the University’s free and wide-ranging GEW programme this year, whether you are:

  • new to what enterprise means or already have a start-up idea developed,
  • an international or UK student,
  • an Undergraduate or Postgraduate.
