In association with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (ODAR), Union Southampton is hosting a new and exciting opportunity for students to crowdfund their social enterprise projects.
Projects should fit into one of the following areas:
- Wellbeing matters
- Access to Education
- Equality for all
- Sustainability in the community
- Combatting climate change
You can submit your application here. The deadline for submissions is midnight on Sunday 13 November.
Five projects will be shortlisted and all five will receive funding, with the winning project receiving the majority. Students who are shortlisted will have the opportunity to present their proposal to fellow students, staff members, the local community and alumni on Thursday 24 November.
Tickets for the event cost £7.50 and include a glass of fizz. Revenue from ticket sales will go towards funding the winning project. Following pitches from each of the candidates, audience members will be able to decide their favourite by voting at the end of the night.
Students are encouraged to stay after the event to network with the audience and potentially gain further investment.
Tickets are available to purchase from the Union Box Office.
