This week is National Pro Bono week; an annual event sponsored by the Law Society, the Bar Council and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).
The aim of the week is to celebrate the breadth and impact of pro bono work undertaken by the legal profession across the year.
To celebrate their involvement, Southampton Law School students hosted a stand at the Union Southampton concourse on Monday 7 November to raise awareness of the three pro bono clinics run by the School in conjunction with local lawyers. The Housing Clinic, Employment Law Clinic and Family Law Clinic all offer free legal advice to current students.
