If you are in a level 1-3 role or are a line manager of staff at this level and would like to help shape either the appraisal or career pathways at the University, the project team would like to hear from you.
Volunteers are invited to attend one of two working groups; one to focus on appraisal, the other on career pathways. Each group will meet a couple of times each month between January and March 2017. You may also need to give some additional time outside this to progress the outputs from these meetings.
The aim of the Appraisal and Career Pathways Project is to develop a fit-for-purpose annual appraisal and to refresh the career pathways for staff in the MSA, TAE and CAO job families at levels 1-3. This work supports our ‘Simply Better’ strategy and is a key contributor to our core principles of collegiality and quality.
Please register your expression of interest by Monday 28 November
If you would like to volunteer please discuss your commitment to the project with your line manager. Then email us, providing your name, role and a couple of lines stating which group you are interested in and why.
Spread the word
If you are a line manager of staff (levels 1-3) please help us to cascade this opportunity, particularly to those in non-office based roles.
Our aim is to have a balanced representation of staff in each career pathway (MSA/TAE/CAO) within the working group.
We cannot guarantee a place on the working group, however we will let all those who’ve volunteered know if they’ve been successful before 16 December.
You can find more information about appraisal and career pathways here or by emailing us.
