Researchers from the University have teamed up with five universities (University of Portsmouth; Roehampton University; Royal Holloway College; University of London and University of the Arts, London) to explore how students develop over the course of their degree.
First year students taking part will be asked to complete a series of online questionnaires at three stages during their degrees. The aim is to measure:
- Students’ views around learning and intelligence
- The way students learn
- Students’ confidence
- How they see themselves as a future employee after graduating
Those taking part in the Learning Gain in Higher Education Survey will receive a free report showing how university study helps to develop attributes such as resilience and positive attitude.
Each survey takes about 30 minutes to complete and participants will be entered into the prize draw each time they complete the survey to win an iPad Air 2 or Amazon vouchers (1 x£100 and 10x £50).
