Final week of Human Worlds Festival

Following last week’s two successful events, the Human Worlds Festival is now entering its final week.

Festival schedule:

Wednesday 23 November, 13:00 – 15:00: Hope and Fear for New Human Life.
Taking place at Freemantle and Shirley Community Centre.

Friday 25 November from 17:45 onwards: A Night on Campus (at Avenue Campus), including a film screening of ‘Night at the Museum’, with introductory talk from Dr Jaco Weinstock, Zooarchaeologist; plus a screening of ‘Le Salaire de la Peur’, introduced by Professor Lucy Mazdon. Plus, don’t miss your chance to have a tour of the Astrodome.

Friday 25 November from 18:30 – 20:00: Join researchers from Film, History and Philosophy, as they introduce their work on the theme of hope and fear at the Researchers’ Café. Attendees will receive free refreshments on arrival.
Taking place at Mettricks Old Town, 117 High Street, Southampton.

The Human Worlds Festival is supported by the Public Engagement with Research Unit (PERu) and the Faculty of Humanities.
