The President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Christopher Snowden has completed a tour of five of our campuses and presented the outline 10-Year Plan to more than 1,000 members of staff.
Sir Christopher visited the National Oceanography Centre, Winchester School of Art, Avenue and Highfield campuses and Southampton General Hospital.
The Vice-Chancellor started by highlighting our successes and achievements but stressed that, as we are operating in a very competitive environment, we need a robust plan to ensure a successful future.
Sir Christopher said the 10-Year Plan was based on sound evidence which staff will have the opportunity to examine in a new ‘Open Space’ in the Hartley Library staff room in the next few weeks. Look out for an announcement on SUSSED about this development.
