A major upgrade to improve the wireless services in the Hartley Library has now been completed.
The upgrade provides extensive wireless coverage in all areas of the library for staff, students and visitors. In addition to availability throughout the library, this upgrade has increased support for high traffic areas, providing faster, reliable access to Eduroam and WiFi_Guest services, even at busy times.
This upgrade forms part of the University’s Network Architecture Programme delivering significant improvements to the student and staff experience. It is also delivering:
· New Fibre Optic network
· A very high capacity core network
· Enhanced wireless network
· Faster and more resilient network connectivity to University sites
