Students and staff share snowflake dedications to loved ones affected by cancer

Snowflake dedications made during November’s Christmas Lights Switch On event are now being displayed in Building 37 on Highfield Campus.

The dedications, made by staff and students from around the University, are a way to honour or celebrate a loved one affected by cancer. The snowflakes can also be used to leave a message of encouragement for the new Centre for Cancer Immunology.

The snowflakes will be displayed throughout the Christmas period.

Anyone still wishing to make a dedication (which will be added to the display) can do so at the front desk within the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (ODAR) in Room 3107, Building 37. A donation of £1 towards the campaign is suggested in return for your dedication.

Staff and students can also participate at University Hospital Southampton at the Student Office in the South Academic Block (level B) or at the reception area of the Institute of Developmental Science (IDS) building.
