The Residences Support Service is a dedicated team supporting the wellbeing of all students living in halls, as well as offering a point of contact to those living within the private rented sector.
The team has actively built partnerships with local support services, one of which is the No Limits charity based in Southampton city centre. No Limits offer free and confidential information, advice, counselling, support and advocacy for young people aged under 26.
Young people who visit No Limits will now have access to a PlayStation 3, donated last month by the Residence Support team. The console will be used in a weekly session called Safe House, which provides attendees with the opportunity to make friends and receive peer mentoring.
