Lifelong Learning: Term 2 bookings are now open

If you are looking to study for career development, personal enjoyment or to take a step into higher education, Lifelong Learning provides a varied programme of evening courses and weekend events.

A discount is available for University staff and students. Details about all the courses are on the Lifelong Learning website.

A summary of the courses is found below:

Part B of the Modern Language courses: suitable for people who have already attended the “A” part of the course or have suitable equivalent experience.

Introduction to Greek Myths and Mythology: this course looks at fundamental Greek myths and their significance in antiquity and modern life.

The Development of the Castle in England and Wales: looking at how castles grew and developed throughout the middles ages and their importance.

Creative writing – telling true stories; Narrative non-fiction: Exploring the Craft of Creative Non-Fiction.

Reflective Art in Practice; Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media and Art History: Exploring the concepts and inspiration behind 20th century Abstract Art.
