Research Professional is an online database of research funding opportunities which the University is subscribed to. It offers researchers the opportunity to search for funding in all disciplines, from a wide range of sponsors in the UK and overseas.
The database of thousands of funding opportunities is available to all members of the University, and you can browse and filter the opportunities, create customised searches of its content, and share funding opportunities with colleagues.
A representative from Research Professional visited the University in October last year, and we are fortunate that they will be visiting again on Thursday 12 January.
To maximise this opportunity, there will be training sessions held at different campuses over the course of the day. Please note that the Boldrewood session is no longer running, and colleagues are encouraged to attend the session at Highfield. Please click on your preferred location below to book tickets:
- 11:00 – 12:00 Room 4049, Building 37, Highfield Campus
- 15:00 – 16:00 Ray Beverton Room, 044/11, National Oceanography Centre
The one hour training session will:
- Introduce the Research Professional platform
- Demonstrate how to locate research funding opportunities which match your interests
- Demonstrate how to set up email alerts to keep you informed of the latest opportunities.
This visit is organised by Research and Innovation Services (RIS).
