Public Policy|Southampton, the University’s policy engagement unit, is celebrating the first year of its monthly blog which distils UK HE policy and funding news into one manageable serving.
During 2016 the Higher Education Digest has charted the progress of the Higher Education and Research Bill as it passes through Parliament, documented the ‘pause’ and then abandonment of the anti-lobbying clause and, of course, Government announcements regarding student finance and researchers funding following the referendum outcome.
With summaries of, and links to, the Dowling Review, the Stern Review and the Diamond Review the Higher Education Digest brings the key issues of the month to the fore to help keep researchers abreast of changes in the Higher Education landscape.
