Academic staff are invited to join the Careers and Employability Service and exhibitors of the Careers and Placements Fair 2017.
Come along to the Coffee Morning as a precursor to the Careers and Placements Fair, where you will be able to network with a range of Employers as well as staff from across the University. The Coffee Morning will take place on Tuesday 28 February from 09:30 – 10:15 at the Terrace Restaurant, Building 38, Highfield Campus.
The Fair itself will run from 11:00 – 15:00 in Garden Court and Hartley Suite, Buildings 40 and 38, Highfield Campus.
This event is an ideal opportunity for employees to make connections with exhibitors and employers from a variety of sectors in an informal setting. It is also an excellent way to discover what is available to our students, and to potentially influence the way prospective employers view our students.
Refreshments and light snacks will be available.
This year, it is anticipated that 60 exhibitors will take part in the Careers Fair, including:
- Amazon
- Babcock International
- FDM
- Hampshire SCITT
- IBM
- Procter and Gamble
- Royal Navy
- Smith and Williamson
Many other organisations will also be in attendance, including a mixture of small and medium enterprises and large organisations.
Because the room has a maximum capacity of 100, if you or your staff plan on attending, please send their names and any dietary requirements to Victoria Thompson by Friday 10 February.
