US immigration changes

Immigration measures put in place by the United States government on 27 January 2017 will impact on Libyan, Iranian, Iraqi, Somali, Sudanese, Syrian and Yemeni nationals travelling to the US – and may affect British citizens who hold dual nationality with these countries.

If you are due to travel to the US for work or your studies and have concerns about these changes, you are encouraged to talk to your line manager, academic tutor, exchange co-ordinator or head of department as soon as possible.

The University’s International Business Team are also available to provide advice and help you find relevant, up-to-date advice before you travel. They can be contacted by emailing: [email protected]

For more information, please visit the International Business Team website, which includes a feed of the latest guidance from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
