Connect with recruiters at the next Careers and Placements Fair

Are you looking into your future career prospects? Come along to the next Careers and Placements Fair on Tuesday 28 February between 11:00 and 15:00 in Garden Court, Building 40 on Highfield Campus.

Network with a wide range of employers, from international blue-chip organisations to smaller local companies who will be exhibiting at the fair. All employers will have current jobs, placements or work experience opportunities to discuss with you.

Stand Out From the Crowd events:

Do you want to stand out to employers at the Fair? The Careers and Employability Service have organised a set of Stand out from the Crowd events and, most importantly, the Prepare for the Fair sessions will get you ahead of the game and will make you more memorable to employers.

Feedback from previous careers fairs’ exhibitors says that they can tell which students have prepared, so preparation is the key to success at this event. To help you with this, the Careers and Employability Service have organised Stand out from the Crowd events, which include two Prepare for the Fair sessions. One will be delivered by PwC through WebEx on Tuesday 21 February, and another session aimed at international students will be delivered by VISA and a Careers Practitioner on Thursday 23 Feburary.

Could your LinkedIn profile look more professional? Union Southampton are running LinkedIn Labs at the Fair which will be open for students to attend on a drop-in basis. There will also be a CV Clinic delivered by the exhibitors, who can give expert advice from a graduate recruiter perspective. To book your 15 minute slot, click here.
