It is with great sadness that we inform staff and students of the untimely passing of Professor Keith Barber, Emeritus Professor of Environmental Change, who also served as Director of the Palaeoecology Laboratory.
Keith made important contributions to understanding the relationships between peat stratigraphy and climate change. You can read more about his contributions by clicking here.
Keith’s funeral will take place at Southampton Crematorium East Chapel at 12:30 on Tuesday 14 February. The reception afterwards will start at 14:00 at the Nondescript Club in Lyndhurst.
