Inspire change: take part in the next Student Forum

The University is dedicated to improving student experience and to do that, we need your help. It’s only with students’ feedback that we can create the best possible university experience for you.

You’re invited to our first Student Forum of the year, which will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, on Monday 20 February from 15:00 in Room 3001, Building 34, Highfield Campus.

To book your free place, click here.

New for the 2016-17 academic year, this is a chance for you and your fellow students to engage directly with senior University leaders on issues that are important to you.

The theme for February’s forum will be assessment and feedback. However, students will be welcome to ask questions relating to any aspect of their university experience. Submit your questions before the event by emailing: [email protected]

Following the forum, there will be an opportunity for one-to-one discussion and feedback with the panel.

You will have a chance to pose questions directly to the following individuals:

•    Professor Sir Christopher Snowden, Vice Chancellor and President
•    Professor Alex Neill, Vice President, Education
•    Nicky Passmore, Executive Director, Student Experience
•    Elliott Grater, VP Education at the students’ union

Following the first forum in November 2016, changes have already been made in response to a number of ideas put forward by students. Find out about some examples by clicking here.

We’re looking to build on this even further after February’s forum, so join us and discover how your student voice can have a big impact.

There will be a photographer present on the day, so if you would prefer not to be photographed, please let an organiser know before the event.

Please note: spaces are limited, so to avoid disappointment we encourage all students to register their place before the event by clicking here.

Find out what VP Education and panel member, Elliot Grater, had to say about the forum in this Facebook Live video:
