Staff and students are invited to register for the Diversity Fortnight Showcase workshops taking place on 20 February.

The Showcase is the opening event for the University’s first Diversity Fortnight, running from 20 February – 7 March 2017.

The Showcase features a range of topics and issues affecting all people in different ways. Everyone is welcome to attend: academics and professional services staff, students and members of the local community. 10:30 – 11:15 – The intersection between race and mental health
12:00 – 12:45 – Trans-awareness – the basics
13:00 – 13:45 – Disability – my experience
14:00 – 14:45 – Modern slavery – indicators of human trafficking
15:00 – 16:00 – Question time – looking beyond to achieve excellence in equality
