The University has now received response rates from the first week of the National Student Survey (NSS), which opened on 6 February.
The NSS is for final year undergraduates across the UK and is a unique opportunity for them share their views on aspects of their student experience.
At an institutional level, response rates for week 1 are at 33%, an increase of 22 percentage points compared with 2016’s week 1 figures. 2017’s week 1 figures are the highest response rate ever achieved by the University.
Five subject areas have already hit the response rate threshold of 50% and 10 respondents, including:
- Art – Fashion and Textile (56%)
- Education (56%)
- Psychology (56%)
- Management – Accounting and Finance (54%)
- Environmental Science (52%)

Thank you to all those involved in promoting the survey, and an even bigger thank you to all the final year undergraduates who have already taken the time to submit their responses.
If you haven’t yet completed the NSS but are eligible to do so, please complete the survey by clicking here as you have an informed opinion, which the University values.
The survey will run until Sunday 30 April 2017.
