Students are invited to share their thoughts on their university experience during Diversity Fortnight (running from 20 February – 7 March 2017) at one of the many drop-in sessions taking place across our campuses.
These informal sessions have been put in place to act as a platform for students to offer feedback on the Student Success project. The aim of this project is to deliver an improved experience for students from a range of underrepresented groups, maximising their chances of study success and positively impacting their future careers.
Following a workshop last year, the project identified three priority groups: mature students, contextual admissions students and students from a black or minority ethnic background. The team would love to hear more from students who come from these backgrounds so they can make changes that will better enhance the student experience for underrepresented groups.
The subjects that will be covered over the sessions include:
- Application
- Welcome
- Expectations vs reality
- Curriculum
- Extra-Curricular Activities and Pastoral Support
