The Southern Universities Network (SUN) is looking to interview participants on camera about their experience applying to university after the 15 January UCAS deadline, as well as any parents of children who applied late too.
Participants will need to meet the following criteria:
- You (or your child) applied to university after the 15 January UCAS deadline (including through Clearing).
- The applicant was a UK mainland resident at the time of application.
If you take part, you will be interviewed about your experience on film and your journey to university, including any challenges that you/your child may have overcome in the process. SUN will use the footage in their Never Too Late campaign, which encourages Year 13 students who have missed the deadline to consider applying for university this academic year, or to apply through Clearing.
Student participants will need to be available to attend one of the filming slots below on Monday 13 March on Highfield Campus (exact location to be confirmed):
Slot one: Arrive 09:00, filming 09:30 – 10:30
Slot two: Arrive 10:00, filming 10:30 – 11:30
Slot three: Arrive 11:00, filming 11:30 – 12:30
Slot four: Arrive 12:00, filming 12:30 – 13:30
Parents will need to be available for filming on Monday 27 March on Highfield Campus (exact location and times to be confirmed). Please note: For those staff whose children have applied late to university, they do not need to be studying at Southampton.
All participants will receive a £20.00 Amazon voucher for their time.
If you are interested, please email: [email protected] for more information, before the deadline of 8 March.
