Get industry experience on a year-long placement

Are you a second year student thinking about completing a year-long placement?

Miles Bannister, who is currently completing a year in work with IBM.

You could be eligible to complete a Year in Employment, a professional placement year between your 2nd and 3rd year, as part of your undergraduate degree. Miles Bannister (pictured above), studies Geography and is currently taking part in his year placement at IBM. Miles said:

I would strongly recommend anyone doing a placement year. It has been a new and exciting journey where I have met so many new people and learnt so much already. This placement has helped improve my work ethic, which I look forward to applying to my studies in my final year. It has really enhanced my communication skills and will look great on my CV for graduate employers.
