Meliora, the University’s International Student Sustainability Research Symposium, will be returning to the University on Friday 21 April.
This year’s symposium will be based around the work our students are doing to help the delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Every degree at the University is covered by these goals, so it’s likely your dissertation research could be a perfect fit for the symposium.
This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students from universities across the UK, and beyond, to present their own research at an academic symposium. This experience will be an outstanding addition to your CV.
You can apply to present your own independent research or as a group presenting joint research. If you would like to present at the Symposium, please complete the Google Form before the deadline of Friday 24 March, including a short description of your research project. Demand is high and places are limited so it is recommend that those interested should apply soon to avoid disappointment.
More details about this opportunity, including guidance on how to apply to be part of the symposium team as a session chair, committee judge, social media leader, or simply to attend as a delegate, can be found on the University website.
Sustainability isn’t limited to environmental action; it includes the economy, society, business, the arts, technology, health, politics and so much more. This event will celebrate the breadth and brilliance of student research taking place across the whole of social, economic, cultural and environmental sustainability.
If you are academic staff and you know of a student who is running a project that fits the criteria, please feel free to share this opportunity with them.
