The University Chaplaincy has changed its name to the Faith and Reflection Centre. The change follows feedback from students, and is part of a desire to raise awareness and reflect the nature of the service provided by the Chaplains, Multi Faith Advisors and Volunteers to all students and staff.
Sometimes you just need a place to be, to be quiet for a moment, or to reflect in the midst of a busy academic or professional life. Or if you are finding life challenging and need a listening ear, the Chaplains and Faith Advisors are there for you whatever your beliefs, faith or none.
If you have a particular faith and religion, they can also help you to meet people who share your beliefs and can help make your University experience a time of growth and community.
The Faith and Reflection Centre hosts events and activities throughout the academic year. These include socials, food related events (Monday Pasta Night, Thursday Homemade Soup and Bread lunch), excursions, discussion groups and speakers, as well as prayer and worship services.
Please stop by for a tea or coffee Monday to Friday between 10:00 – 17:00 at House 41, University Road, Highfield campus.
The Chaplains and Faith Advisors are also available to our students and staff located on other campuses. If you have an inquiry or would like to connect with a Chaplain, please call Tel: +44(0)23 8059 3511 or email: [email protected]
You can also visit the Centre’s website for more information and updates.
