Mental Health Awareness Week introduces WellFest

The University’s annual Mental Health Awareness Week from 8 – 14 May kicks off this year with a new WellFest event.

Mental Health Awareness Week is jointly organised by Health and Wellbeing, Enabling Services, and the Union Southampton.

WellFest, which takes place on 8 May, will be a celebration of all things related to our wellbeing including mindfulness taster sessions and workshops. There’ll also be food, games and giveaways.

Stalls and stands will be on site in Garden Court for both staff and students. To book your place on a workshop or mindfulness session please click here.

In addition, the Union Southampton will be launching their new Burst the Bubble campaign at WellFest so make sure you come along to participate and learn more.

Throughout the week, Health and Wellbeing will be providing a number of events which relate to a balanced mental health. They will include a stress workshop, a choir taster session and an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Q&A session for staff.

Please keep checking SUSSED for more information on the wellbeing events coming to University campuses this May.
