This week (Monday 24 to 28 April), students from across our Halls of Residences will be embarking on the first Recycling Action Week (RAW), with the aim of increasing the amount of recyclable waste successfully collected in our recycling stream.
During this time, all students and staff are encouraged to reflect on their own recycling habits and to contribute to the University’s green initiatives where they can. Unsure of how best to recycle? Visit Southampton City Council’s website for more information on waste and recycling.
To mark the first RAW week at Southampton, the halls team are giving away a hamper filled with eco-friendly goodies worth £40.00.
