Nominations are invited for the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards which recognise and celebrate truly exceptional contributions that have been made by our staff during the academic year.
This year the Awards have been updated and aligned with the University’s Simply Better strategy. There are now 12 named Vice-Chancellor’s Awards which emphasize the important components of our strategy. You’ll find them listed below:
Administrative and Operational Efficiency; Balanced Academic; Career Achievement; Collegiality; Early Career; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; International Engagement; Mentoring; Research Impact; Student Experience; Support and Service to the University; Teaching (via faculty nomination only).

To underline the importance of the event, the awards will be presented at an Oscar’s style gala dinner on the evening of Friday 13 October 2017 at St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton. Shortlisted nominees will be invited.
The deadline for nominations has now been extended until 17:00 on Friday 9 June 2017.
