The Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) is an annual survey sent to all graduates six months after the completion of their course. The survey collects data on what our graduates are doing; whether that’s employment, further study, travel or something else.
Why is it important?
- The information you provide helps us to give lifelong, tailored careers advice to our students and alumni.
- The survey helps to inform prospective and current students about potential career paths.
- The results contribute to career-related information on Unistats and in university league tables, which are published throughout the year.
- It enables us to share the successes of our students.
How do I get involved?
If you’re graduating this summer, it’s really important that you leave up-to-date contact details with the University. Go to ‘My student record (Banner Self Service)‘ on SUSSED to update your details.

The University will then contact you between November 2017 and March 2018 to ask you to take part in the survey. The survey itself only takes a few minutes to complete and by taking part, you’ll have a chance to win one of four £50 Amazon gift vouchers.
Last year, we heard from 90 per cent of our students. 94 per cent are now in employment or further study, with a typical starting salary of £24,000.*
