Want to get rid of old belongings and make a difference to the environment as you move out of your house?
Union Southampton’s Shift Your Stuff allows you to donate unwanted possessions to charity quickly and easily. Just go to a pickup point at the Union building (B42, Highfield Campus), Avenue Campus reception or Winchester School of Art Café to collect your bags and stickers.
Items in the following categories can be donated (please ensure all items are in a good, clean condition):
- Clothing & footwear
- Kitchen utensils (no electrical items)
- Unopened tinned or canned food
- Textiles, bed linen and duvets
- Homeware
- Books, discs and games
There will also be pickups on Tuesday 13 June and Friday 30 June in the Highfield and Portswood areas.
