Time to cast your vote in the UK General Election today (8 June)!

Just in case you missed it, 😉 students and staff who are registered to vote in the UK General Election can do so today at their designated polling station.

Polling stations are open from 07:00 to 22:00 today (8 June), and are usually located in public buildings like schools or local halls.

Unsure of where your polling station is? Check your polling card, which should have been sent to you by the local council via post. If you’re a student staying in one of our halls of residences, you can check at Reception to see if your polling card is there.

Please note: you don’t need your polling card to vote.

Filling in your ballot paper:

  1. Take your ballot paper into a polling booth.
  2. Follow the instructions on the notices in the polling booth and on the top of the ballot paper.
  3. Put your ballot paper in the ballot box.
