The Institute for Life Sciences (IfLS) is holding a conference entitled ‘Precision Cancer Medicine: Forefront Technologies at the Clinical Interface‘ on 14 September 2017 from 09:00 – 18:00 at Avenue Campus.
Book your place on Eventbrite.
The conference is open to staff and will be of particular interest to clinicians and life technologists.
The event is led by the Institute’s two Deputy Directors: Professor Tim Elliott, Director of Southampton’s planned Centre for Cancer Immunology and Professor Hywel Morgan. It will draw together experts in the field of precision medicine to share their work on developing new technology.
Precision medicine is an emerging field of research that has come about over the past two decades as a result of the increasing amount of individualised information that can be obtained from molecular profiling. This has opened new doors to the potential of helping doctors to deliver the right treatment to the right patients at the right time.
You can find further details about the conference and book your place on the IfLS website.
