The Blue Room on Highfield Campus has been refurbished as part of Catering’s commitment to provide exceptional food and service to the University community.
The key project focus was to create a much improved dining space that reflects the contemporary and innovative style of food served, at a minimum cost to the department and minimal disruption to Blue Room customers.
The restaurant focuses on fine dining with an emphasis on seasonal and sustainable dishes using local products. Dishes are individually priced so that customers can chose from one to three courses, to suit their time and budget.
Catering Services Manager, Jason Waterfield said:
“I am really pleased we managed to achieve the project aim. The refurbishment adds significant value to the dining experience and complements the amazing food our talented chefs are producing.
“It is a great location to entertain guests, celebrate or simply enjoy fine dining at its best with friends and colleagues.”
The Blue Room restaurant is located in Building 38 and overlooks the Terrace Courtyard. The restaurant is open Monday to Friday 12:00 to 14:00. The room can also be hired for dining events.
Menus and more information about booking can be found on the Catering Services webpages. Walk-ins are welcome depending on availability but it is highly recommended to book in advance.
